The 44-year-old man was shot three times in the back while inside the Olney subway station at 5600 North Broad Street at 10:47 a.m. Friday, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. He was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center by police where he is currently in critical condition.
Police have made one arrest and recovered a weapon, authorities said.
One of the shooters wearing a hoodie with a skull on the front was identified, according to Citizen.app. They were last seen heading south on Park Avenue toward Tabor Road. Daily Voice reached out to the Philadelphia Police Department to confirm this information and will update if more information is provided. The Philadelphia Police Department responded at 1:08 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27 that it hasn't received any updated details or descriptions of the offenders.
